The Freight & Salvage is the best and most important acoustical music showcase in Northern California. In deference to its unique character, Sam will be performing solo. He will, however, be joined for part of the evening by the great flutist Matt Eakle. Best known for his many years with the David Grisman Quartet, Matt's technical virtuosity and stylistic reach have also supported such diverse talents as Arlo Guthrie, Jerry Garcia, and Stephane Grappelli.
